Nash & Pepper
Nash & Pepper, also known as Nicolas Geniets and Steven Pepermans, have been friends since the early age of three. They grew up in the same street, went to the same school and caught the dance producing bug when they were sixteen. Nash had his share of experience as a DJ and Pepper was interested in anything that had to do with bits & bytes.
Their first feat was a remix for Mauritz Engelen, better known as Maurizzio. The Nash & Pepper remix of the successor to his remake of the Eurythmics single ‘New Emotion’, ‘Feelings’, received a warm welcome and ended up in the charts for the very first time. Today, they are at 15 releases, as either Nash & Pepper or any of their other monikers. Together with producer Svenson, they made the tracks ‘Inside Out’ and ‘Wicked Life’, after which they decided it was time for a small break.
It was the summer of 2009 when the guys got back to together and made a swell kickstart to their following career. After some networking, they got back in the game with a few firing remixes, of which one for Technotronic’s ‘Pump Up The Jam’. Nash & Pepper asked Erik Lake to co-operate on production and so the dance train left the station and the studio was more ready than ever to head for a long, far and high destination.
The first production to be injected in the dance scene, was the hauntingly beautiful ‘Am I Wrong’. A vocal trance track, with warm progressive beats and the astonishing vocals by Reshum ( Rogue Raven), released on Armada Music’s S107 label. The follow-up to that one, ‘Changed’, took its listeners on an exciting, musical journey once again. After a short break, Nash & Pepper returned with 3 new additions, ‘Aftersun’, ‘Killed The Love’ and ‘Rain In Summertime’!
Keep an eye on these guys, cause they’re about to win you over with all things needed for musical synergy. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
