Neckle Camp
Neckle Camp are a Grime crew lead by East London MC Jammer. They were at their peak in the 2006/2007 times when they were associated with acts such as Roll Deep and Slew Dem, and before the disputes which lead to the departure of several members such as MC Earz.
The two CD releases from the camp, Destruction Volume 1 and Straight Necklin are highly rated by Grime fans. Destruction Volume 1 is a collaboration CD featuring many classic hits by artists including the original N.A.S.T.Y crew, Roll Deep and Slew Dem. This CD was released in 2007.
Straight Necklin is the mixtape release which featured the full Neckle Camp line-up at the time; Jammer, Earz, Gully Ranjah and Knucklez. The CD is fully grime and features many big names from Slew Dem, Roll Deep and Ruff Sqwad. It was released in 2006 and is still well liked by fans today.
The crew lost two members, Earz and Knucklez due to disputes within the crew. Since these departures the crew have been less active despite a number of sets and features, mostly on Jammer Are you Dumb series of mixtapes. Members today have other commitments, Jammer and C Gritz are part of Boy Better Know and Blacks is a member of South London crew O.G'z. Read more on Last.fm.
