Yet another project from studio wonder Brian Saitzyk, the dubbed out funky style of Numatic Soul creates a sonic flotsam inspired by the likes of Fila Brazillia, Kruder & Dorfmeister and Nightmares on Wax. Even so, the sound is surreal and original, leaving formulaic downtempo by the wayside in favor of mind-expanding frontiers.
