One Year Later
After spending two years touring in support to bands such as Like Moths to Flames, Texas in July, Our Last Night, and performing at festivals such as Milwaukee Summerfest with All That Remains and Hollywood Undead, One Year Later returns to the table with a new release - Life Between the Lies.
The sophomore full-length record from the band, due out April 15th on CI Records, draws influence from contemporary and past musical giants, including metal frontrunner Bring Me the Horizon and ever-eclectic The Mars Volta. Recorded at Planet Red Studios with Andreas Magnusson (Impending Doom, Fit For a King, The Black Dahlia Murder) in Richmond, VA, Life Between the Lies offers a pummeling 11 tracks strong filled with soaring melodies and aggressive verses, not unfamiliar from a sound crafted by Of Mice and Men, The Word Alive, and Memphis May Fire.
As described by guitarist Max Getz, “Life Between the Lies is a journey, both musically and lyrically, that we are excited to offer to people. The record transcends what we could have ever hoped to create, and as a band we hope this opens up opportunities to share our music with more people than ever.”
Life Between the Lies releases on April 15th, 2014 on iTunes and in stores. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
