2. An electronic/house/chillwave project from Toulouse, France.
3. Alias of Ferraby Lionheart, used for the song "Naked Eye"
More info:
1. Oxford is a band with female vocals from Ekaterinburg, Russia. It was formed in 2001 by 4 guys and a girl, then students, all living in the same yard. Singer Aleksandra (Sasha K) wants, in her own words, "to save the planet". She says "the band is not my goal, but merely a tool". Other bandmates, however, are more focused on the band. Probably because they're male. Oxford's music has some influences of such bands as Cranberries, Garbage, a little bit of Guano Apes, and possibly Russian Masha i Medvedi.
2. You thought it was as easy that Oxford still lies in the UK, and it still does, but now we also got Oxford in Toulouse, France. If you would compare tweed jackets and studies with the French Oxford, they don't have that much in common. The French Oxford is more about that funky French house.
Oxford is Antoine Rigail. His material is impressive - both the sound and the melodies. Lots of house piano and you know how nice that is! Oxford has got some attention since the release of his EP "Moon", where the brilliant "Holly Moon" is on.
