Spinning records since 1993, Claudia Marquardt aka P.toile decided to open her ownrecord shop in Kiel, Germany in 1998. Alongside the record shop she set up the Groove Complex with partner Kai Hallebrandt bringing to Kiel artists like Terranova,LTJ Bukem, Jazzanova, Smith & Mighty, Rockers Hi-Fi, Patrick Pulinger. The GrooveComplex allowed Claudia to gain tremendous experience behind the decks in front ofsome large audiences. Her experience with her own store and the complex immediately landed her aposition at Discograph (record distribution) upon her arrival in Paris in 2001, she washired as an Internet editor and Coordinator as well as handled the booking for TheLizard Lounge Club. In 2003 P.toile started the booking agency clique bookings in Paris and has beenstarted to handle the booking for international artists like Pan/Tone aka GringoGrinder aka Sid LeRock, Duplex100 and Jeff Milligan to name, among others.In the spring of 2004 she relocated to Berlin and immediately took over the booking for the No-Ufos team doing booking for the club Sternradio Club.In January 2005 P.toiles first release Stick-Lip on Trenton Records got charted inGroove Magazines Top 50. With a remix from Frank Martiniq (Boxer Sport) andPan/Tone the record sold out and with such a positive response P.toile is working hard to bring us some more fresh sounds in the spring.
