Phonorama
Phonorama is the name of two separate groups of artists:
1) Phonorama was a live electronics happening generated from improvisations to create a collective soundtrack. One long enviromental suite involving some of the best artists in italian electronic music scene. Fragments of Phonorama were recorded live at Raum, Bologna 9/11/07 (2nd edition), 16/12/06 (1st edition) from two collective performances, conceived by Riccardo Benassi for Xing. Phonorama is Riccardo Benassi, Roberto Bertacchini, Alessandro Bocci, Dafne Boggeri, Vittoria Burattini, Massimo Carozzi, Francesco Cavaliere, Fantasmagramma, Manuelle Giannini, Invernomuto, Marco Lampis, Luciano Maggiore, Ootchio, Stefano Pilia, Claudio Rocchetti, Valerio Tricoli, and Domenique Vaccaro.
2) The Phonorama project (Retrology album) explores the sounds of 60s and 70s Italian soundtracks...Bossa Nova, Mambo, Jazz and Funk are major ingredients.
