1. Channeling modern rock influences into huge sing-alongs Premier, the youthful group of musicians hailing from Quincy, Massachusetts came together late in 2011 picks up where most pop punkk bands put their guitars down for synthesizers. Anthem driven choruses topped with catchy hooks make fans of pop punk fall in love with these angsty adolescents.
Since their formation, the pop punk five piece have made tremendous headway in their native New England scene including an appearance on the 2012 Vans Warped Tour as well as performing alongside The Wonder Years, A Loss For Words, Transit and The Dangerous Summer at A Very GK! Holiday Festival.
2. Premier was a rock band from Zlín, Czech Republic, originally formed in 1975. However, until the late 80’s they played only foreign songs, mostly pop and disco.
Their line-up completely changed in 1993, and in the same year they recorded their first album Probodnu tě hroty. Then, they released another two hard rock albums Hrobař (1995) and Černá vdova (1996). Later they appeared with two soft rock albums - S radostí blesku (1998) and Pocity (2001). They split up soon after the release of their last album Free (with Jarda Bobowski - now a vocalist of the band Takahe - as a frontman) in 2005.
