Robocop
Robocop was a power violence band from Orono, Maine and Oakland, California. Band members went on to play in Ultra//Negative, Slavestate 641A, Body Hammer, and Abrasax
The group took influence from d beat, doom metal, grindcore, power electronics and thrash.
They recorded their first demo in September 2009. Soon after they began recording their full-length album, Robocop II. Due to technical issues, recording delays, and scheduling conflicts the album was not completed until January 2011, when it received a dual release from Jay Randall's Grindcore Karaoke net-label and the band's in house label "Name Like His Master".
The band broke up July 2011. They briefly reunited in 2012 for the release of a split e.p. with Alberta, Canada's Detroit via Give Praise Records. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
