Roller Coaster
There are two groups with the name Roller Coaster:
1) Roller Coaster is an acid jazz trio from South Korea. The group was formed in 1999 and has consisted of Jinu (bass and programming), Jo Won-sun (lead vocals and keyboards) and Lee Sang-soon (guitar) from its formation to the present day. They are pioneers of acid jazz in their home country, where the genre was previously non-existent.
Prior to co-founding Roller Coaster, Jinu worked together with musicians such as Lee Seung-hwan and Yoo Hee-yeol. Jinu also performed as a solo singer. Before debuting as a member of Roller Coaster, Jo Won-sun variously sang and played keyboards on records for Yoon Jong-shin, Lee Hyun-woo and Yang Hyun-seok. Lee Sang-soon was also a highly regarded musician before joining Roller Coaster, having been with the band Baby Blue.
2) Roller Coaster is also a Japanese pop band that released an album in 2001. Their track "Come Closer" was remixed by Pizzicato Five's Konishi Yasuharu. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
