Roots Underground
(1) Roots Underground, whose album Tribesman Assault appeared first in 1977 (and was reissued in 2003 as both LP and CD), can easily be confused with another, much more recent reggae act from Jamaica, Rootz Underground. I left the description of the group written with the "z" untouched, see no. 2 below.
For the original Roots Underground who issued only one album (a.f.a.i.k.), Tribesman Assault, see http://www.discogs.com/artist/Roots+Underground
(2) Reggae / Rock / Dub
from,
Kingston,
Jamaica.
the "s" is backwards in the word roots so it can be written as a "z"
making Rootz Underground the correct spelling
