Simon Phillips
There are several artists with this name:
1) Simon Phillips (born February 6, 1957) is a prolific British jazz and rock drummer. He is best known for his work with Chick Corea and Toto, but has played with a wide array of musicians including The Who, Jeff Beck, Jack Bruce, Brian Eno, Mike Oldfield, Gary Moore, Mick Jagger, Phil Manzanera, Stanley Clarke, and Hiromi. He also was the drummer for The Who in their 1989 American reunion tour, and appeared on recordings by band members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend. He has also worked with heavy metal acts Judas Priest on "Sin After Sin" and Michael Schenker's debut album "The Michael Schenker Group."
Simon began to play professionally at the age of twelve in his father's Dixieland band for four years. He was then offered to play in the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar". He quickly became a sought-after session player, until he joined Toto in 1992. He also released several studio and live albums of varying styles, e.g. in the fusion genre. See the Wikipedia article for a selected discography and a list of his drum equipment.

2) An Australian folk blues singer and guitarist who also has released an "Out of the Blue" album like the British drummer in 2014, so it is easy to mix them up, as they both feature a track with that name as well. Furthermore he released the album A Woodbox, A Biscuit Tin, A Tambourine, a Guitar, A Healing Heart and a Spoon in 2012 and an earlier album as the Simon Phillips Band with Savannah Blount on saxophone, Owen Downie on bass, and Gareth Bowen on drums. The solo album is based on the sound that Simon gets when playing live on his own, a lot of it was recorded completely live in one take. The guest musicians are Gareth Bowen on an occasional brushed snare drum, harmony vocals by Kate Kelsey-Sugg and some organ and piano by Andrew Vollmer. Read more on Last.fm.
