Something Good
Something Good is a Finnish upcoming DJ/Producer duo formed by Otto Yliperttula & Karolus Viitala.
The sound ranges from soft summer vibes fitted for the beach, to darker more full, luscious and deep club beats. A certain softness, however, is always present as that can be said to be one of the trademark elements of Something Good's sound.
Not to be confused with Halifax-based live hip-hop band, Something Good.
(See below)
The Canadian based Something Good consists of Boy-ill, Markit, DJ Y-Rush, Alex Meade, Alan Hoskins, Jordan Oakie and Jarret Sampson.
ECMA nominated party-rockers Something Good want to let the good times roll. Winners of Music Nova Scotia's 2011 Hip-hop Recording of the Year, this 7 piece live hip-hop band believes in doing what their name-sake suggests both on and off the stage. When they're not packing dance floors they stay busy with an on-going Good Deeds project that sees them giving back to their community.
Something Good combines the best elements of 90’s era hip-hop with disco, dance and rock styles for an exciting genre-bending show that Stephen Cooke of the Chronicle Herald calls, “one of the most body-moving live-dance parties in town.” You good?
