Sternbuschweg
Sternbuschweg is a german band from Dessau based in Berlin.
The band members are:
Wolfgang Müller-Molenar: vocals, guitars
Sebastian Schiller: guitars
Denis Kather: electric bass
Benjamin Erbig: drums & percussion
The band exists since 1998, getting through periods of creative silence. Since 2000 as all band members moved to Berlin, Sternbuschweg have started to be more active. They've recently recorded their first album going to be released in the autumn. Their musical style can be described as a mixture of Madchester sound and The Smiths with German lyrics, which bear a quite specific sense of humour, not always being just funny.
Their current single "Paula, ich liebe dich" can also be purchased online in Rough-Trade's store.
