Studio-X
Studio-X is DJ 'Project 2' aka Lawrie Masson, from Adelaide, Australia. He is an internationally renowned Author/Producer/Teacher/MC/DJ & more. Studio-X was formed in 2008 by Project 2 and DJ Mat-X and rapidly became one of the most sought after remixers in the electro-industrial/rave music scenes.
The Studio-X debut album "Neo-Futurism" was unleashed worldwide in January 2011 by Deathwatch Asia and Alfa-Matrix. Track one features the Youtube sensation "You'll Never Get This - The Borat Song" which has snagged up hundeds of thousands of plays online and still counting.
Studio-X has toured Australia many times, recently with vocalist Heather Zaeda, rocking audiences with their live performance act of DJ-ing, Mc-ing, Synths, Vocals and Guitar. They have performed at nightclubs and events such as Defqon 1 Festival (NSW) Earth & HQ Nightclubs (SA) Shallow Nation (NSW), Prometheus Bound (QLD), Club Unknown (WA), Rhino's Rampage (SA) and many other events across Australia.
Studio-X has received large radio exposure via many radio stations worldwide and Studio-X have also recently featured two songs in the 'Hardstyle Top Downloads' global chart, (hardstyle.com) with their pole positions climbing fast.
Studio-X have (so far) worked with Nick Skitz, DJ Proteus, Depeche Mode, Lab4, Luminaries, Bobby Duque, Acylum, Angelspit, Annimassicre, Blind With Rain, Essence of Mind, Experiment Haywire, Ext!ze, Freakangel, Grendel, Helalyn Flowers, I:Scintilla, Implant, Julien-K, Leaether Strip, Memmaker, Nitzer Ebb, Psy'aviah, SAM, Shiv-R, Skrat, Straftanz, Suicidal Romance, Uberbyte, Unter Null, XP8 and most notably in the last few years Simon Carter from the UK underground dance music scene.
