THEイナズマ戦隊
THEイナズマ戦隊 (The Inazuma Sentai) is a Japanese rock band known for its motivating songs and energetic live shows. Formed in 1997, in Sapporo, Hokkaidō. Three of the members are born in Osaka, but attended Rakunō Gakuen University in Ebetsu, Hokkaidō, where they met drummer Kubo Hiroyuki, a local.
In august 2002, after moving to Tōkyō, they released a self-titled mini-album, and were quickly signed to Warner Music Japan. In 2003 their first major label single was released, 月に吠えろ, followed by 応援歌and the album 勝手にロックンロール. During the year they performed over 100 live shows.
After two more singles and the album 馬鹿者よ大志を抱け, they transferred to Nippon Crown and released the single あの夏の日々, receiving significant radio play, along with numerous television appearances. The track 明日を迎えに行こう became J-League team Kawasaki Frontale’s official song.
To this day, they produced 13 singles and 9 albums.
The band’s name translates to “The Lightning Squadron”.
