THE PRODIGAL SONS
There are at least four bands that have gone by the name 'The Prodigal Sons':
1. The Prodigal Sons (United States) were a 1970's hard rock/southern rock band whose demo tapes were recently released on a vinyl called 'Emerge From The Void'
2. The Prodigal Sons (United States) were an electronica band from the late 1980's & early 1990's. They released several albums including 'Return', 'Texno Theology' and 'Fast'. 'Fast', was a 1993 two disc set containing both a studio- and a live version of the album.
3. The Prodigal Sons (The Netherlands) are a rootsrockband that released their first single in 1992 and went on the record several albums before disbanding in 1997. At the time they were compared to Van Dik Hout, The Black Crowes and The Jayhawks. After a few years hiatus lead singer Erwin Nyhoff went on to pursue a solo career.
4. The Prodigal Sons (Japanes) are a band started by vocalist Morishige Juichi (森重樹一) (ZIGGY, The DUST'n'BoNEZ and Matsuo Sounin (松尾宗仁) (ex-ZIGGY) in 2008. They later added a second guitarist, bassist, and drummer and are currently active as a five-member band. Read more on Last.fm.
