3: A metal band from the USA
-[2004]-
Talos is a project created by Nishkheed, Zach M. and R. Fierfell. The band was originally known as "Warhead Serenade". After the band changed the name, a three song mp3 release occurred tittle as Warhead Serenade. The first songs that Talos released to the public were known as Apothecary, Die Passie Van Hel and Broken. Soon after the tracks were posted, an individual named Azog took interest in Talos and eventually took up the 2nd guitar position.
-[2005]-
Soon after Talos gets a full line up, the band was offered a slot on the OCT 29th booking at Perk Avenue Cafe. Talos accepted the offer and was booked for the first time. Unfortunately, due to legal issues Zach M. had to leave the band with no vocalist three days before the show. Azog and Nishkheed decided to learn all the lyrics for the show so the band could still play. Talos played its first show with artists such as Gravestorm, Stillborn Messiah, Malcavian and Sepulcro. While playing this show, the band picked up two new members. Josteinn, who was also the singer for Gravestorm, and Apollyon, a fan of Talos who noticed no bassist existed at the time.
-[2006]-
Talos recorded a six song EP given the title of Sleep Now Forever. Cd's were being constructed and shirts were being pressed for the Sleep Now Forever release. Talos was also invited to play in the Omaha Metal Fest and came to the conclusion that it was the perfect time to release the new material. The band had a total of 60 Cd's created and 50 shirts; all of them sold during the OMF3 event. In December issues started to occur with R. Fierfell and Josteinn, which lead to a hiatus for Talos.
-[2007]-
During the hiatus of Talos, Nishkheed and R. Fierfell kept writing music. Eventually Talos was offered a headlining slot in Omaha Metal Fest 4. In May Nishkheed and R. Fierfell decided on asking Azog and Apollyon if they were interested in re-forming Talos. Azog was happy to hear the news of Talos reforming, and Apolyyon agreed to join if Josteinn would re-join as well. Every member re-joined the band by the end May and Talos was stronger then ever, or so it seamed. After getting shows booked Josteinn leaves Talos hanging 3 days before a show. The band quickly re-writes all the lyrics and continues the show with Azog on vocals yet again.
In October the band started to write more new material for the first official release; Thee Clairvoyant Mirrors (which never got released entirely)
-[2008]-
On January 7th Nishkheed signed his papers to join the U.S Army.
December - Nishkheed and R. Fierfell talk about writing music again...
-[2009]-
with a more extream style of music, and a new line up consisting in the band, members of Talos decided its time to move from the past and into something new.
