Tangra
Tangra is a rock band formed in Bulgaria, in 1976. The group lasted for 15 years and left a number of influential songs for the generation grown in the 80s. The group's lineup changed through the years and some of the best Bulgarian musicians of the time were in the band. Initially the band was formed as hard/progressive rock, but in the beggining of 80s its style was changed towards more melodic oriented pop-rock sound.
The second incarnation of the band was first and the most influential Bulgarian new wave/new romantic band, spawned such hits as "The Circus", "Juliette", "Lead Soldier" and many others. Their second LP "Tangra II" was real 80s masterpiece, compared to work of bands such as "Talk Talk", "Tears for fears" and "Thompson Twins". Read more on Last.fm.
