Texas Is On Fire
Coming from Denver, Colorado, a widely known city of momentous discoveries on redevelopments, asserts this infallible demoniacal five-piece band known as Texas is on Fire (Gavin Hansen, Chris Papp, Ben Donnelly, Daniel Artzer, and Brandon Loyche). Texas is on Fire had created a seclusion from most metalcore bands in the genre today by their own renovations on the out takes of music and with the composition of masterminding influences such as Botch, Soilwork, Arch Enemy, and The Hope Conspiracy, originates this remarkable and canorous sound, that many strive to achieve but is vary rarely reached. Texas is on Fire released their debut album with Crash Music, Inc. “Shine. Set. Repeat.” on October 18, 2005 which was recorded at Chameleon Audio and Video in Denver, Colorado and produced by Jason Anderson (producer of critically acclaimed acts such as Fear Before the March of Flames and Vaux). The album contained five of the 6 tracks re-recorded from their independent EP “Take Your Sex Elsewhere Girl, I'm Trying To Dance” and five new tracks with more rigorous guitar riffs and more experimental breakdowns.
Unfortunately as of April 2006 Texas Is On Fire decided to call it quits.
