They are perhaps best known for recording the first version of Chip Taylor's song "Wild Thing", which would later be a smash hit for The Troggs. 3 The Wild Ones from Richmond, VA released a 45 on Tu-Lang Records in 1965, with two original songs, Listen To The Drums and flip side Baby I Love You. You can find a band profile on the Garagehangover.com site under the VA listings. They were a popular band in the Central Virginia region playing gigs at clubs, dances/proms and many types of venues.
