The Draytones
The Draytones are an Anglo-Argentine 4 piece psychedelic/garage rock group formed in London in 2006.
The group's early recordings, made with Stan Kybert (Oasis, Verve, Bjork) attracted the attention of Zane Lowe Radio 1, Radio 2's Bob Harris, MTV 2, Celtic Football Club, Toni and Guy TV, Channel 4's 'Skins', BBC 6 Music, a NME and Mojo magazine covermount CD and the attention of the esteemed Paul Weller- who invited the band to tour with him throughout the UK.
Draytones tour schedule has included playing alongside artists such as The Noisettes, Nick Cave, The Dead 60's, The Hoosiers, The View and many other highlights - including Glastonbury and many festival appearances in UK, Europe, South America and Japan.
Independent releases from the band have received national radio play including heavy coverage and a live sessions from Radio 2's Radcliffe and Marconie's and BBC 6 Music's Tom Robinson and Mark Riley.
Having caught the attention of national radio and MTV in Latin America the band secured a 5-week tour of Argentina, including their now historic 'Friendship Tour' of The Falkland Islands - becoming the first ever Anglo-Argentine band to do so.
2010 saw The Draytones working again with Stan Kybert at the legendary Sawmills studios, recording,mixing and mastering a whole new record in just 7 days.
