The Fiery Piano
The Fiery Piano started out in 2011, releasing his first collection of songs on the self-released Sirens EP.
Intricate productions with catchy guitar melodies, distorted vocals and electronical details share ground on elaborate DIY pop songs, everything recorded and mixed in a small apartment in Stockholm.
Instead of drum machines and a real drum kit, the one original member Gustaf Montelius mostly used chopped-up field recordings and cut-and-paste samples as the foundation and driving force behind the productions, creating a warm analogue sound, but with somewhat of a digital groove.
To play the songs live, Kristoffer Byström, Max Anderhell and Daniel Nilsson joined the band.
