The Survivors
There are three groups called the Survivors.
The first was a hardcore band from Atlantic Highlands, NJ. They released two EPs, one 7 inch and a split with A New Enemy, a fellow "shorecore" band from Manasquan, New Jersey.
The other group known as the Survivors was a side project of Beach Boys' producer Brian Wilson comprised of Wilson and two of his friends. This group only released one single, the Dion-esque "Pamela Jean" backed with an instrumental called "After The Game", on Capitol in 1963. A second Survivors single was recorded, but was not released because Capitol thought it sounded too much like the Beach Boys. "Pamela Jean" and "After the Game" were reissued on CD on the compilation "Pet Projects: The Brian Wilson Productions".
The third : 1976-1978 Australian power pop/new wave. From Brisbane.Jim Dickson (bass, vocals), Bruce Anthon (drums, vocals), Greg Williamson (guitar, vocals) Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
