New single "Cat Green Eyes", slated for a 28 APR 2011 release, is taken from The Wolfmen's prolific 2010 sessions with The Dandy Warhols 'Courtney Taylor-Taylor' in the producer's chair.
Tracks from 'The Dandy Sessions' will form the second album ‘Married to the Eiffel Tower’ which will be released 2 MAY 2011 and will feature their single release of 'Jackie, is it my Birthday? ' a duet with Chris and Sinead O'Connor. The track won massive radio support from the likes of Dermot O'Leary (BBC Radio 2), Don Letts (BBC 6Music), and Lauren Laverne and is heralded by Rolling Stone as “rock rage is wrapped in an ethereal halo.”
The band is formed of Marco Pirroni and Chris Constantinou and also features percussion Zelig Preston Heyman. Marco Pirroni and Christ Constantinou have been working together since late 2005.
Married To The Eiffel Tower is the Steve Musters-produced follow up to their debut album, Modernity Killed Every Night, which garnered accolades for catchy singles like “Cecilie,” “Jackie Says” and their tastefully poppy cover of Brian Eno’s “Needle In The Camel’s Eye". The Wolfmen also recorded the video for “Cecilie” on the air with six models from Britain’s Next Top Model in 2007, and the band was heavily promoted on the show.
