Tomislav Nedelkovic-Baynov was born in 1958 in Sofia, Bulgaria, in a musical family and has lived in Germany since 1981.
Barely four years old, he began taking piano lessons. With five he stood for the first time on stage, with six he already won 1st prize at the national piano competition in Prowadia, Bulgaria.
Very impressive was his piano lessons in Sofia at Welitschka Sawova. This had studied with F. Busoni pupil Gottfried Galston and Leonid Kreutzer.
