UV
There are at least 2 artists called UV:
1. UV (유브이) is a two man project band composed of a South Korean comedian Yoo Se Yoon and High Syde's Muzi. The band had released the EP "Do You Want to Be Cool" and a music video for the track "Sorry I Can't be So Cool / No Cool I'm Sorry "in April 2010. The band's name comes from the acronyms of a romanised Korean word "유부남" which translates to "married men". The band has gained strong popularity from the day of its release due to catchy yet well crafted tunes with hilarious lyrics and PV which resembles a homemade video. Their style of music was heavily influenced by "The Lonely Island" while their featured fashion in the MV draws a resemblance to Milli Vanilli.
2. One of the various alter-egos of Matthew Stenning, a UK based producer who has been making electronic music since his early-teens. His love of electronic and melodic music was guaranteed thanks to a parental bombardment of Jean Michel Jarre, E.L.O, Cosmos (Vangelis), Roxy Music and Mozart, amongst others. He was later heavily influenced by A-Ha's 'Hunting High & Low' album - its epic, reverberating sound tied melancholic melodies with warm analogue synths and a healthy dose of abstract samples - a sound still reflected in the music he makes today.
3. Defunct Cleveland EBM band composed of Heretek (Lost_Boy) of the band Silicon Shadow, Bruno of Encoder and Relic (aka Timothy Smith) of the goth band Lestat and now in the electro act Mercury Project with DJ Hojo (also of Lestat).
