Valentine D.C.
Formed in an Osaka livehouse in 1989, Valentine D.C. was comprised of 4 members:
Vocals - Ken-ichi Domoto (土本健)
Guitar - Naoya Yoshida (由田直也)
Bass - Jun Shimazawa (嶋澤潤)
Drums - Takeshi Uwatoko (上床武)
Previous to VDC Jun was a roadie for PRESENCE and Takeshi was one for Eins:Vier.
They attempted to create an American hard rock sound, and their first album "Saint" was released in February 1993. They then joined BMG Japan and released the album "Parody", and began shedding any image of a Visual Kei band they may have built up. 1997/8(?) saw a switch to Nippon Columbia.
The band called it a day on New Years Eve 1999.
Reformed with Ken-ichi and Jun in July 2007. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
