Warp Technique
Originally created as an experimental dance project by friends Bill Fuller and Tom deMajo, with inspiration and studio collaboration from maestro Ted E Dog, the Warp Technique sound evolved to encompass a broader range of movement in moment.
Anyone who has been at their live gigs can testify to the unique atmosphere conjured up by the extraordinary combination of live digital manipulation from studio WT, and esoteric beats provided by the fantastic percussionist Darryl Que.
Warp Technique first dropped Live at Sonica (IT) 2006 in a collaboration with Friends Electric. Introduced as a Friends Electric vs. Warp Technique sound off, the two groups weaved their different styles into a 3 hour epic set with all members involved on stage throughout.
Warp Technique has since returned to Sonica, and played live at Universo Paralello (BR), Glade (UK), Little Green Planet (UK), OV Silence (DE), Rhythms of Peace (MO), and many underground parties across Europe.
Now, after much request, Warp Technique are proud to present their first album “Make Animals Happy” released on Dubmission records, home of Pitch Black and International Observer.
“ Sounding like a double-dipped Trentemoller, Warp Technique weave divergent genres into their psychedelic stew” (www.psyshop.com)
