Wess & Dori Ghezzi
Wess - real name Wesley Johnson - former member of the Airdales, and Dori Ghezzi met in the early 70's.
Thus began one of the most famous artistic and successful pop couples of the early '70's. The idea started when Wess asked Dori to re-record two songs he has set down, "I Want To Be With You", and a cover of the Brotherhood Of Man single, "United We Stand", both achieving reasonable success.
The couple sang "You In My Life" at the 1973 San Remo Festival, with excellent results. This was followed up with successful recordings: "With Body And Soul", "Aggiudicarono" (their most successful song), and "Canzonissima"
The couple represented Italy at Eurovision Song Contest in 1975, held in Stockholm, where they placed a respectable third place.
