吳浩康
Deep Ng (吳浩康; born 吳偉男 -- Ng Wai Nam on 13 June 1983) is a Hong Kong singer, musician, composer, and actor. He was one of the top 8 finalists in the 1999 New Talent Singing Awards Hong Kong Regional Finals and won the New Energy Award. He was 16 years of age and entered the contest with his birth name. In 2002, he entered the 2002 New Talent Singing Awards Hong Kong Regional Finals and won First Place. He went on to compete in the 2002 New Talent Singing Awards International Finals. He was placed Second Runner-Up and won the Best Stage Prescence Award. He was then signed to Emperor Entertainment Group. He has released two EPs and three albums.
Deep was a guitar teacher prior entering the singing contest in 2002, he has 6 years of guitar performance experience, and advance studied Classical guitar. He also plays the piano and drums.
He was convicted of possessing cocaine in July 2004 and fined $5,000 after pleading guilty following his arrest.
On 21 November 2005, Deep was acquitted of an assault charge after a court ruled that the victim's statement was inconsistent. He was charged with assaulting Chim Chi Kin at the Boozeroo pub in Tsim Sha Tsui on July 11.
Deep Ng starred in movies such as New Police Story. He is also famous for his number 1 hit song, Select the Breakup Day (擇日失戀). His new album, Nowhere (pronounced as Now-here) was released in September 2005. This album is seen as a come back for Deep after a series of negative news.
