佐宗綾子
Ayako Saso (佐宗綾子, Sasou Ayako, born on March 5, 1967 in Miyazaki, Japan) is a Japanese composer best known for her contributions to many videogame soundtracks.
She first joined the NAMCO sound team in 1989, during which period she composed many soundtracks for various NAMCO games, most notably Ridge Racer 2 and 鉄拳2 (Tekken 2). In 1997, she left NAMCO to work at ARIKA, where her most significant work were the compositions of the Street Fighter EX series, as well as smaller contributions to games such as Bushido Blade and iS ~internal section~ with fellow composer 細江慎治 (Shinji Hosoe).
When Hosoe created SuperSweep in 2000, Saso joined along with several other composers. As a member of SuperSweep, she helped producing the scores for SquareEnix's Driving Emotion Type-S and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance series.
Aside from SuperSweep, Saso is also a member of SamplingMasters and released several original albums both as a member of those units and as a solo artist. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
