Colette Carr
Colette Carr is a rapper from Malibu, California whose hip-hop music is characterized by electronic stylings. She signed to Interscope's Cherrytree Records.
She has gained attention with her songs "Bitch Like Me" and "Back it Up", the latter reaching number one on the MTVMusic Top 100 in January 2010.
She cameoed in the video for the Far East Movement's song "Like a G6" and appeared on a remix of the record.
In May 11, 2011 Carr released the lead single "(We Do It) Primo" from her debut album 'Skitszo'. On December 13, 2011 she released a promotional single "Sex" which featured American hip-hop duo New Boyz. The second single from her album "Like I Got A Gun" was released June 26, 2012.
Carr decided to release her album in 4 EP's which were released 2 months apart. These EP's were accompanied along with 3 singles "F16", "Why Are You Leaving?" and "Never Gonna Happen". To date 'Never Gonna Happen' has become Carr's most successful single gaining over 6-million hits on YouTube.
