Crucifix
There are more artists with this name:
01. Crucifix was a classic American hardcore punk band from San Francisco who were active in the early '80s. Though graphically and lyrically they were similar to UK anarcho-punk bands of the time, they played fast, high-octane hardcore a la Reagan Youth, which many peace punk bands that followed would eventually cite as a major influence.
Members Matt Borruso and Chris Douglas were later in New York band Loudspeaker and vocalist Sothira Pheng went on to form Proudflesh
02. Crucifix was also a brutal death metal band from Dallas (USA). Started in 1989 as a heavy metal band then they turned to more dark and sinister sounding. During a couple of years these texan guys released two demos: "Crucifix" (1991) and "Barriers" (1992). After that musicians decided to release full-length named "Visions Of Nihilism" and signed to JL America. Unfortunately, the album hadn't seen the light of day.
But a compilation of band's demos of the same name was released in 2013 on Dark Blasphemies Records. The last thing Crucifix made was an EP called "Remains" released in 2014.
Last line-up: Kelly Smith (Bass); Robin Kennon (Drums); Jeff Ross (Guitar); Mark Bagwell (Guitar); Robert Cortinas (Vocals).
03. Crucifix is a Danish death metal band formed in Skjern in 1993.

After four demos and a live recording, in august 2008 they released their first official full-length, "Threnody of the Crucifix".
04. Hip Hop artist Crucifix (aka BabyBlue). He first burst onto the underground music scene in 2005 with the release of his independent, controversial double disc debut, "My Life's Prayer". Blending a smooth mix of aggressive, fast-fire hip hop. Strong, heartfelt vocals. A passionate, pain filled delivery and emotional, no holds barred lyrical content. Crucifix will release My Death's Prayer in 2010.
