Cyferdyne
Cyferdyne formed towards the end of 2010 with the vision of creating an original EBM/Industrial sound which was both instantly accessible, yet diverse enough to maintain an audience’s attention.
The influences pulled together by the group are diverse, from Nine Inch Nails to Iron Maiden and from Combichrist to The Dillinger Escape Plan. This eclectic mix makes for a style of music which is both i
intrinsically EBM/Industrial without being generic.
In the first few months of being, Cyferdyne have built a strong following, and have played with a number of the leading UK scene acts such as Surgyn, Method Cell and Flesh Eating Foundation, aiming to continue to expose their sound to new audiences wherever possible.
Their tracks, particularly ‘Feeling’, have been circulated through a number of popular internet radio stations, and have appeared on compilation CDs for various magazines and charity organisations. Reviews from magazines such as Coma and Blackvector have cemented an extremely positive reputation for the Cyferdyne creation.
They provide an emphatic and energetic live show, combining dual vocals with live synth and guitar work. Audiences have judged the band well, and continue to be both overwhelmed and affirmative with their reaction.
The band are hopeful that this strong initial impetus will continue to build as they become a more integral part of the UK EBM/Industrial scene. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
