About
Hard-hitting, emotional, aggressive electronic music from Edinburgh.
Biography
The .invalid is Seamus Bradd, Philip Graham and Daniel Ambrozevich-Girvan. We make hard-hitting, emotional, aggressive electronic music.
The .invalid mixes a base formula of the straightforward synths and rhythms of EBM with jittering, glitchy percussion, anthemic hooks, and a vocal approach ranging from melodic to (undistorted) screaming. The project is still in its early stages, but is slowly gaining pace, hoping to make a name for itself in the UK industrial scene if not further afield.
The first demo, 'To:Dust' has just been released and can be downloaded at http://theinvalid.bandcamp.com/
Influences
EBM, IDM, aggrotec, trance, screamo, futurepop, ye olde industrial, breakcore, post-rock, ambient
Band interests
Being miserable and Scottish, getting drunk and dancing like an idiot at 2 in the morning, failed friendships, generic rage
