David Lindgren
David Lindgren (born April 28, 1982 in Skellefteå, Sweden) is a Swedish singer and musical artist.
Lindgren was born in the north of Sweden, but moved to Gothenburg to study musical theatre after high school. Since then he has performed in different musicals like "Hairspray" and "High School Musical" (2008-2009). He has also competed in the Swedish TV-show "Så ska det låta" twice (2009 and 2010).
In December 2010, Lindgren were announced as one of the participants in Melodifestivalen 2012, the Swedish selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2012. Lindgren was the first backup entry, since one entry was withdrawn.
On February 11, 2012, Lindgren (along with Ulrik Munther) won the second semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2012, with his entry, "Shout It Out", a dance track written by Fernando Fuentes and Tony Nilsson. The song was originally called ‘To The Sky’ and was actually supposed to be Danny Saucedo’s entry. Read more on Last.fm.
