Hostage Life
Hostage Life was a Canadian punk band from Toronto, Ontario. Their lineup consisted of Colin Lichti (vocals), Hai Vu (Guitar), Patrick Mathers (Guitar), Shamus Mathers (Bass), and Paul Miller (drums). Formed in 2002, Hostage Life were signed to Underground Operations in North America and Household Name Records in the UK. They released four albums throughout their time as a band: Sing For The Enemy (2004), Walking Papers (2006), White Jesus 7" (2008), and Centre Of The Universe (2009).
Known for their awesome live shows that included (but were not limited to) getting crushed by Colin, getting spat on by Colin, having beer bottles thrown at you by Colin, and just generally getting owned by Colin. The rest of the band knew how to rock as well.
Hostage Life announced their breakup in early November of 2009, and after several shows in Quebec and Ontario throughout the month, they played their final show on November 20th in Toronto.
