With production credits that include national and overseas industry talents such as Wentell from Highfield Entertainment, Beatnecks Productions, Kaprice, Nightlife Entertainment, Leeyou and Danceey Productions, Tribeca and Beat Brokers Entertainment co-owner Portiay, who all have much credibility in production by some of today’s known artists such as Camp Lo, Dipset’s - Juelz Santana and Hey Young World Kids- just to mention a few- Jo Shine continues to prove his talent, commitment, and ability to create an overall established sound.
Jo Shine has come a long way paying his dues to now open up at venues that include some of the hottest spots in New York. This energetic lyrical artist has performed in many of NYC's local establishments such as PLANET 28 , MO BETTER'S , BLACKTHORN, SAND BAR, RITLERS, JIMMY'S BRONX CAFE, SOB's, EXIT, CLUB DEEP in Miami, FL, THE SUPER CLUB, DON HILLS, UNCLE MIKE'S and many other local and national music production venues where his talent was applauded and admired by many.
When asked about his influences, he collectively mentions the names of New York’s biggest rappers, Biggie and Jay-Z. He also mentions the influences of Eminem, Nas, Meth & Red, LL Cool J and Outkast as well.
Jo Shine is well on his way in making his mark on the music scene. With a demo library consisting of hits like “Dangerous Girl”, “Got A Question” , the streets Anthem “We Here” and the heartfelt life track “This Pain”, Jo Shine is indeed ready to be apart of an established record label’s home. Jo Shine has also connected and featured on many rising and known artists songs such as Jeremy Greene's "Rain" remix, Greg Parys' "After Sex" remix and Danny Fernandes' "Private Dancer" remix just to mention a few.
