Max Viana
Max Viana was born in Rio de Janeiro, January 1973. He is a singer, compositor and guitar Brazilian player. Between his musical influences are the rhythm of jazz, soul, black music, MPB (popular Brazilian music) and flamenco.
Max Viana is Djavan's son. Djavan is very well known Brazilian musician.
Max left University which he was studying Economics to start studying music at Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles where he got classes with the great guitar player Scott Henderson.
When he got back to Brazil he played with Edmon and recorded with Zé Ricardo, he was in band called “Sindicato Soul” for three years beside the vocalist Sérgio Lorosa. He also played together with Jair Rodrigues in songs like "Domingo de Verão" and "Prazer e Luz". In shows of Bernardo Lobo he played also, he shared the stage with Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento and Edu Lobo.
He invested in singing classes to defend the music that he composed. But ater 1998 after the show Bicho Solto he started to participate on his father's albums and shows. It was three years that they played together.
On the same year he began what would be his first solo album called "No Calçadão", but due to the recording of "Milagreiro" of Djavan, he had to wait until 2003 to launch it. Four years later he recorded his other album called "Com Mais Cor".
