Nosowska
Nosowska is an abbreviation of Katarzyna Nosowska (aka Kasia Nosowska), best known as the lead singer of Hey (Polish rock band, she co-founded in 1992). Besides her career with the band, she has released five solo albums, to date. Her solo releases are substantially different in style from that of Hey's. While Hey has been faithful to grunge / rock, Kasia has experimented with industrial & electronica sounds, e.g. with her album, Osiecka (2008) - which, while heavily reliant upon guitars, maintains Kasia's characteristically eclectic arrangements. Other LPs include: Puk.Puk (1996), Milena (1998), Sushi (2000), UniSexBlues (2007) and 8 (2011).
She is one of the most talented lyricists & has shown her literary skills by writing a column for a magazine. She has received several awards, including The Fryderyk for Best Female Singer, Best Songwriter and Best Alternative Album.
