OZROSAURUS
OZROSAURUS was formed in the summer of 96.
OZROSAURUS (a.k.a.Large monster of Hama) consists of Tomo (born in '77), Maccho (born in '78) and DJ of MC.
Since he first grasped a microphone at 14 years old, Maccho polished his skill as a genius Rapper. Tomo is known for his perfect pitch and is known for his motto "Beat is big"! ".
He made his debut in 1998 on "Bay Blues". In 1999, he offered his best work "045 STYLE" to FUTURE SHOCK's first compilation album "SHOCK TO THE FUTURE". He showed a new style of performing Live, and even his existence on the tour around Tokyo / Osaka and Sapporo appealed to the HIP HOP scene. In 2000, "OZRO stock" soared, and Maccho made a guest appearance in Twigy, Zeebra and Rapagaria on each artists' album, he let them completely recognize his ability. The single "AREA AREA" from the November release was a smash hit. A low-rider team participated in the PV and they got support from not only the HIP HOP fans but also those who drove low-riders. Their 045 first album "ROLLING" was released on April 25, 2001. The album unusually recorded smash hits in the HIP HOP scene even though it was a debut album. (It placed 27th place on its first appearance on Orikon) They gained popularity as the representatives for the new generation. In addition, Maccho was featured on a Korean Rapper's (Joosuc). It was released in Korea, and he participated in the final shows of Joosuc's in Korea. OZRO was active performing LIVE in 2002. He released the single "Hey Girl feat.Corn Head" from a 2nd album in November. It placed 34th on the Orikon charts on its own. The PV of this single was made at the same level as a movie directed by Kenji Sonoda as the "industry's first PV 3 part production". They became PV's which three parts concluded "Zeebra" in January, Dj Pmx in December, "OZRO" in November. In March of 2003, he released his 2nd album & single "JUICE". The 2nd album was a record smash hit, placing 23 on the Orikon charts (the album topped on its own). The sound that you should have called "New OZRO" which evolved in comparison with the previous work let fans recognize that "OZROSAURUS" should have been located in the favorites of the next generation. On the other hand, he formed another unit, "Romero Sp". They made their guest appearance in "LET ME LUV U" from Exile, "IN MY SOUL" from Misia featuring Zeebra (both share the same label) In 2005, they released the single "The Phoenix (will rise)".
