Petr Hapka
Petr Hapka (born on 13th May 1944 - 25th November 2014 in Prague, Czech Republic) is Czech singer and composer of popular music and soundtracks.
He graduated musical conservatory (alto, singing). Is famous for his music for texts of Michal Horáček and for composing a few movie soundtracks. Their top songs like Levandulová, Dívám se, dívám, S cizí ženou v cizím pokoji, Štěstí je krásná věc, Individualita ci Bude mi lehká zem has been song by Hana Hegerová, Lucie Bílá, Hana Zagorová, Michael Kocáb, Jana Kirschner or Richard Muller. Songs of Hapka & Horáček duo has been out on albums Potměšilý host (1986), V penzionu Svět (1988), Citová investice..? (1996), Mohlo by tu být i líp (2001). He composed music for dozens of czech/slovak movies (Fany, Copak je to za vojáka, Perinbaba, Fešák Hubert, Tisícročná včela, Den pro mou lásku, Léto s kovbojem, Páni kluci) and also TV series (Náves, Náměstíčko, Bylo nás pět, My všichni školou povinní).
