SICHTBETON
Lunte und V-Raeter told us that their music is more suitable for relaxed listening rather than dancing. And for real, it makes more sense to have a cup of tea while listening to Lunte's lyrics than squirting crystal in the club.
Lunte's raps talk about human mindstates, sometimes introverted-abstract, then again in direct connection to the city (subject of love and hate) and their mindless residents. Urbanity as inevitableness, not as a farce.
On the instrumental level, the Sichtbeton guys don't dare to move on safe paths. Noisy pads of expanded field-recordings float through the songs, DJ V-Raeter's cuts peel out of the mostly laid back rhythms, dusty drums clatter as there is no connection, but the vocals hold it all together.
