Stone People
Stone People is a breakbeat / big beat group from Belarus.
Positive vibrant dance and electronic rhymes - bearing close resemblance to the music of The Crystal Method, The Prodigy and Fatboy Slim. Given that Stone People have their own original tunes, enhanced by the unique guitar sound, makes them worthy to be known.
The most noticeable Stone People appearance was in 2003 with the release of their music video for TGB first presented as Millenium Demoparty as a separate production off competition. Since then Stone People were popularized through local TV and gained some Internet fame, their music was used in commercials. On their albums was forged by pirates even before first 100 promotional CDs were distributed. Group doesn't have an official web-site, and musicians are now involved in separate different projects.
Stone People are:
Eugene «Masik»: Web-designer by profession, he is the primary driving force behind Stone People, intensively working on several musical projects in his home studio. He is also known for his unusual outlook at parties with a cigarette dangling from his lips, keeping one eye on the dance floor and another one on his computer screen.
Andrey: Runs a furniture business. Guitarist in a free time. Started his musical career in a punk rock.
«Rupert»: The only member of the band with music education. His the voice is on the most vocal samples the band uses in their tracks.
