The Hepburns
Hailing from Wales, The Hepburns are led by vocalist and songwriter Matt Jones. The Hepburns did a session with the legendary John Peel in March of 1989, with a line up of Matt Jones, Les Mun on percussion, Mike Thomas on bass, Nigel Boulton on guitar and Iain Davies on keyboards. A decade or so after the first recording, the band lineup included Jen and James White, a flautist and trumpet player, on the album "The Last Thing I Saw Before I Said Goodbye."
Trojan Hearse marks The Hepburns' first release on Bendigedig Recordings.
The Hepburns decided to release Trojan Hearse on Bendigedig in early 2008. The album was recorded in Cardiff (produced by Charlie Francis), mastered just off the A48 and replicated in Melin Derw, near Pentrecwrt.
And so, 2008 is the year The Hepburns came home. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
