3 Deep
From Cd Baby -
3Deep was born in Columbus,Georgia and raised in Madison, Alabama, just west of Huntsville, Alabama. He has always been musically inspired from the days of his youth. In early years, he listened to R&B artists such as: the Isley Brothers, the Gap Band,Commodores,Michael Jackson, Parliment Funkadelic, and his most strongest influence Zapp&Roger. "3DEEP" is known for creating his music to match his style and his expression of how he wants to survive in life and the recording industry.
3Deep has enjoyed rap music since the age of twelve years old and got involved on his thirteenth birthday, by writing his first rap song. His influences in rap music were: Run DMC,N.W.A.,Geto Boys,Compton's Most Wanted,D.J. Quik,Dr. Dre, etc. For the simple fact that the thought of creating or replaying original music to match his style, made him more confident about being a rap artist and producer. With the encouragement of his cousins and friends, he decided to take his rap career serious. 3Deep plays his music by ear and taught himself to play the "Talkbox" as used by the late funk artist, Roger Troutman and other artist. The talent and ability that this artist has, made him put his "skills" to the test by writing without profanity in his lyrics.
In short, this is an artist who pulls out all the stops and goes above and beyond the duty to get his audiences attention with his musical creations and stage presence. 3Deep is determined to never give up on his music career. "I've made it too far to give up now! There's no turning back! I'll make it! I can feel it!" he says. "I have gone through alot and I know that I'm not the only one, but I have lived my life to turn my negative influences into positives, so that many can do the same!" he said. He is surely a show stopper with such acheivements as: partial winner of the 1997 Black Arts Festival in Huntsville, Alabama and a performance of strong response at "Yesterdays!", a military club in Vilsek,Germany. Credentials like these are none of an amatuer to the rap industry. Truly, an explosive artist indeed...
