Funday Mornings
Funday Mornings first saw the light of day in early 2001, when Mattias Malm (now Everyday Mistakes) and Jenny Westerlund (now The Tidy Ups and Déjà Vu Experience) started recording fast and furious tweepunk, blending naïve lyrics with a feminist perspective with a whole lot of attitude.
One could argue that the Swedish revival of twee music and culture started because of Funday's first s/t cassett demo and their follow-up 7" entitled Girls Gone Wild EP released by Swedish label Fabulous Friends.
The band ceased to exist shortly after their last live performance at the festival Mitt Sista Liv in 2003.
